🕯️ Filter

Grind size Medium-coarse (like coarse sugar)
Coffee-to-water ratio 1:15 (for every 1g of coffee, use 15g of water)
Dose for 1 serving 15g ground coffee & 225g hot water
Water Temperature 92-94 ℃
Brew Time About 2 minutes and 10 seconds
  1. Bloom

Pour 60g of hot water and let the coffee bloom for 40 seconds.

(Tip: You’ll see bubbles as the coffee releases gas — it’s a good sign!)

  2. First Pour

Add 60g more water, starting from the center. Slowly pour in a circular motion outward.

  3. Second Pour

Pour 70g, starting from the center again, and continue in circles with slightly more flow.

  4. Final Pour

Finish with a gentle 35g pour right at the center. Let the water fully drip through.

⏳ Espresso

Grind size Fine (like powdered sugar)
powder-espresso ratio 1:2 – 2.5 (For every 1g of ground coffee, aim for 2g to 2.5g of liquid espresso)
Dose for 1 serving 19g ground coffee (⇒ makes 38g espresso)
Water Temperature 90 – 93°C
Extraction Time 30 – 36s

*If it tastes too complex or bitter, try adjusting a few settings, such as temperature, ratio, and powder coarseness.

☕ AeroPress

Grind size Medium-fine (like table salt)
Coffee-to-water ratio 1:15 (for every 1g of coffee, use 15g of water)
Dose for 1 serving 15g ground coffee & 225g hot water
Water temperature 85 – 90°C
Brew time About 2 minutes and 30 seconds
  1. Prep

Place a paper filter in the cap and rinse with hot water. Assemble the AeroPress and place it over your cup.

  2. Add Coffee

Add 15g of freshly ground coffee into the chamber. Shake gently to level the grounds.

  3. Bloom

Pour 45g of hot water (around the “1” mark). Let it bloom for 30 seconds. You’ll see small bubbles rise, a sign of fresh coffee!

  4. Pour

Slowly pour the remaining 180g of water (up to the “4” mark). Give it a gentle stir for about 3 seconds to ensure even extraction.
